Thank you for visiting our team page
We – the entire Haldenhof team – would like to welcome you to our team page and invite you to get to know us. We are characterised by reliability, honesty, friendliness and special professional competence. We make life easier for one another by treating each other with respect.
And that's exactly what you will experience every day in our hotel. We use all these good qualities every day to pamper and inspire you, our guests.
Yours
Michael & Claudia Schwärzler

Our Hanni completed her studies at the Tourism School in Innsbruck and subsequently gained valuable experience in establishments both in Austria and abroad. She then pursued a degree in Business Administration in Vienna, which she successfully completed with a Bachelor’s after a semester abroad in Boston. Following an extensive study trip through New Zealand, Australia, and Southeast Asia, she returned home.
Together with Rebecca, she now manages the reception, attentively taking care of the needs of our guests and staff, and brings fresh energy to our well-known “Haldenhof Party and Event Management.”

For us, the Haldenhof is far more than just a hotel – it is our home and our passion. We love working with wonderful people and creating unforgettable, heartfelt moments for our guests.
A little over 25 years ago, we had the privilege of taking over the Haldenhof from Hubert and Isolde and developing it further with great dedication. We are especially proud that many of our guests remain loyal across generations and continue to return to us time and again.

After graduating from hotel management school, our Alex spent a summer in a wine castle, obtained a bartender's diploma in Barcelona, completed his basic ski instructor training here in Lech and gained experience in several businesses. During his internship at a renowned record studio in Liechtenstein, he discovered his new passion. He is currently attending the SAE in Vienna to study and train as a sound and event technician. Alex organises training courses for the team in the restaurant, looks after the necessary IT and always lends a hand when he is at home in Lech.

Rebecca gained her first experience as a receptionist at a hotel in London.
What was originally meant to be just one winter season in Lech as a little change of pace turned into much more – and we are delighted that she decided to stay! With her valuable experience, energy, and warmth, she has been enriching our reception team ever since.
She left the foggy valley behind and traded it for the sunny mountains. Since last summer, Rebecca has also been a proud member of the traditional brass band here in Lech, the Lecher Trachtenkapelle, where she passionately plays the saxophone.
At our reception, she takes care of every guest’s needs with great attention – always with a listening ear a bright smile and of course not without a joke or two.

With her warm and balanced nature, Vanessza – a graduate of the Hungarian Tourism School in Budapest – has been the heart of our restaurant for several years. Always reliable, she brings a unique touch to everything she does, from her impeccable sense of style and eye for decoration to her delightful, dry humor. Even in the busiest moments, she remains a calming presence, keeping everything running smoothly.
For the past year, Vanessza has been pursuing a personal passion project: together with her partner, she is renovating a house nestled in the idyllic vineyards of Burgenland – a place that radiates the same charm and serenity that she brings to the Haldenhof every day.

Ramona joined the Haldenhof on the recommendation of friends, together with her partner Florin. She brings valuable experience from renowned restaurants in Mallorca and France and is now embracing a new challenge: learning German as her fourth language.
With her lively spirit, infectious smile, and sparkling sense of humor, Ramona is a bundle of joy who keeps the atmosphere cheerful and dynamic, even behind the scenes. No task is too big for her. This summer, she has also discovered a love for mountain hikes and exploration tours, immersing herself in the beauty of our region.

From Vienna to the Arlberg, Jarema brings a wealth of experience and passion to our kitchen. After completing his training, he remained loyal to his hometown Vienna for several years, traveling frequently along the way.
Eventually, he followed our head chef and close friend Lenz to the Haldenhof – and we couldn’t be happier to have him on our team. As sous-chef, Jarema enriches our kitchen with his professional expertise, extensive experience, and genuine enthusiasm for cooking. It’s immediately clear that the two form a perfectly coordinated team, working together with joy, creativity, and a keen sense of flavor. At the same time, Jarema adds his own unique touch, making our kitchen even more versatile and exceptional.

Lenz comes from our beautiful capital, Vienna. After completing his training as a chef and gaining valuable experience in the city’s culinary scene, he made his way to Lech a few years ago. After several seasons at the Schneggarei, we are thrilled to welcome Lenz as part of the Haldenhof team. With his creativity, humor, and keen sense for culinary details, he enriches our kitchen. A special recommendation: his incomparable Viennese schnitzel. But desserts and pastries are also close to the heart of our “sweet tooth” chef.
Since summer 2025, Lenz has taken on the role of head chef and shines brilliantly in his new position. With his passion, skill, and heart, he makes our kitchen truly exceptional.
And watch out: sometimes you might even see him twice – when his twin brother visits the Haldenhof!

Rens has already spent several seasons in Lech and therefore knows the area extremely well. This season, he is joining our team for the very first time, supporting us as Sous Chef.
With his great talent, experience, and enthusiasm for cooking, Rens is a valuable asset to our kitchen team. Together, they create innovative ideas, maintain the highest quality, and deliver plenty of enjoyment on every plate. Lenz and Rens not only harmonize in name, but from the very first minute through their shared passion for great food.
On a personal level, Rens has long since made Lech his home and has even found his Lech local girlfriend here.
We truly hope that Rens will remain part of our team for many seasons to come!

David completed his culinary training in his homeland of Bosnia before moving to Lech, where he worked in a large hotel run by friends, taking full responsibility as the sole chef for the afternoon menu. Thanks to their recommendation, his path eventually led him to the Haldenhof. Here, he enjoys working in a smaller team, where he can share his passion for cooking while also improving his German skills.
Together with his partner Zeljana, David has become a valued part of our international family at the Haldenhof. His reliability, helpfulness, and the joy he brings to his work are truly contagious. Whether preparing delicious meals, assisting his colleagues, or brightening the day with his positive attitude, David always gives his best.

Fabi is no stranger to our team – she was already part of it three years ago, working in the kitchen under Georg, our former head chef. With her dedication, team spirit, and passion for hospitality, she made a valuable contribution even back then.
After spending some time in Wales with her long-term partner, Fabi has now returned to us – this time behind the bar. With her friendly personality, great service skills, and love for mixing drinks, she helps create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
We’re happy to have you back!

Maria is already in her third season with us and part of the infamous Wenzel family – several of her siblings have also been part of our team. By tradition, the Wenzel kids are “sold” to the Haldenhof for at least one season.
Besides her great love for horses, Maria also enjoys a good, sociable drink now and then. This season, she’s mainly causing a stir around the Haldenhof together with Fabi and Rebecca – not only creating the best atmosphere, but also mixing some of the best cocktails!
Her Espresso Martini, also known as the “fun coffee,” is an absolute must-try.
We’re absolutely delighted to have Maria back, supporting us once again with her cheerful personality and dedication.

Florin, together with his wife Ramona, gained experience in Mallorca and France before joining us at the Haldenhof. A natural with languages, he is quickly finding his way in German.
While still new to winter sports – his first highlight was helping build our New Year’s Eve ice bar – he has already fallen in love with summer hikes in our region. With his open nature and enthusiasm for guests and cultures from around the world, Florin is a wonderful asset to our team.
And if you happen to meet him during carnival season, you may also encounter “Florina” – his fun-loving alter ego that has been making people laugh for years.

Adi is the youngest addition to our Haldenhof team. He found his way to us through the recommendation of his cousin Florin – a fortunate coincidence we are very happy about.
With his calm and balanced nature, his sense for order and structure, and his ever-friendly smile, Adi brings valuable qualities that perfectly complement our team. We warmly welcome him and are certain that he will enrich life at the Haldenhof in many ways.

Lubi is a true bundle of energy. With great care she supports our chefs, looks after the breakfast menu, and ensures the kitchen is always spotless and well-kept with her sharp eye for detail – so much so that we sometimes have to remind her to take a well-deserved coffee break.
During her very first “in-between season” in Lech, she laughed and said it was “not bad at all – but not enough work.” Without hesitation, she grabbed the iron and gave all of the Haldenhof curtains a brilliant shine.
After a short health-related break, Lubi is now back with even more energy, looking after “her boys” in the kitchen with heart and dedication – always reliable, hardworking, and spreading good cheer along the way.

Ang Dawa comes from Nepal and is already a valuable addition to our kitchen team. He has settled in quickly and feels completely at home in the kitchen.
With his calm demeanor and ever-present smile, Ang Dawa brings not only quality to his work but also a wonderfully positive atmosphere to the team.
We’re happy to have you with us, Ang Dawa!

At the Haldenhof, Netti is our reliable all-rounder. She recently took over controlling in the wine and beverage cellar as well as inventory management, ensuring with great oversight and precision that our supplies are perfectly organized and that the wine never runs out. In addition, she successfully completed the Austrian Young Sommelier course this summer – another step through which she enriches our house.
In her private life, Netti is a true bundle of energy. Whether jogging, working out in the sports park, or going for a walk with little Leni, her partner David, and her mother Andrea, she is always active. She is also passionate about the mountains: this year, Mera Peak (6,476 metres) will be her mission as she is preparing for her big adventure in the Himalayas.

David is our versatile all-rounder in the Haldenhof’s facilities management team. With tireless dedication, he ensures that everything runs smoothly – from repairs and guest luggage service to the ski depot, swimming pool, spa, and outdoor areas. Whether it’s the snow blower, the vehicle fleet, or tools – nothing escapes his attention.
Even in hectic moments, David always keeps a clear overview, handling every situation with reliability and a good dose of humor. He is not only an indispensable support for our team but also helps create a pleasant and positive atmosphere at work.
His great passion lies in cars – preferably with a powerful combustion engine and as little electronics as possible. He draws energy and balance from his family – Andi, Netti, and Leni – who always provide him with strength and support.

Andi-Neni radiates calm and warmth like no one else – even on the busiest days, she keeps everything running smoothly and always has a kind, encouraging word for everyone. Her soothing presence makes her an invaluable part of the Haldenhof team.
One of the true treasures of our house are the lovingly crocheted plush toys she creates, displayed in front of the lift. Each one is made with care and heart, carrying a little piece of Andi-Neni’s warmth – a delightful surprise for our guests to discover.
She enjoys her free time exploring and spending quality moments with her family – Netti, David, and Leni – returning to work with renewed energy and the same heartfelt dedication that makes the Haldenhof feel like home for everyone.

Anca has been supporting us for the fourth consecutive winter – and we couldn’t imagine a sunnier presence at the Haldenhof. With her friendly nature, infectious laughter, and her subtle, sometimes delightfully cheeky sense of humor, she always brings good vibes to our team and puts a smile on the faces of our guests.
Anca works with great reliability and thoroughness, approaching her tasks with joy and dedication – it’s clear that she truly loves her job.
In her free time, she especially enjoys spending time with Ramona and Florin, which gives her new energy and happiness.

Mira and her family have been living in Lech for several years. Her husband works at Martin Walch’s bakery in Lech, ensuring fresh, delicious pastries every day and managing logistics – and occasionally, Mira accompanied him on his delivery rounds.
A chance encounter over an early morning coffee with our housekeeping team quickly turned into a warm friendship. This inspired Mira to spend last summer working with us at the Haldenhof – and fortunately, she enjoyed it. Since then, she has also been enriching our house this winter: her cheerful whistling and melodic singing as she makes her rounds bring warmth and joy to both guests and colleagues alike.

Last summer, Zeljana visited the Haldenhof for the first time together with her partner David (not to be confused with our caretaker David, who works with Netti). Her goal is to quickly learn German and pursue a career in the social sector.
We sincerely hope that the two of them will remain part of our house for a long time – ideally until we “need elderly care.” When our Andre retired, we never imagined we would find someone with such a warm personality combined with such meticulous attention to detail. But fate – or rather good friends – brought Zeljana to us, and we are truly grateful for it.

We are looking forward to your work application.
If you love people and work - then we can show you the rest!
